Signs and symptoms of cancer women shouldn't ignore
The warning signs of gynecologic cancers can be vague and similar to those of other conditions. Even still, every woman is at risk for developing gynecologic cancer. You should proactively look out for the following signs and symptoms as they can be the first indicator of a possibility of cancer.
- Abnormal vaginal bleeding
- Unexplained weight loss
- Vaginal discharge colored with blood
- Constant fatigue
- Swollen leg
- Loss of appetite or feeling full all the time
- Pain in the pelvis or abdominal area
- A bloated belly
- Constantly needing bathroom breaks
- Persistent indigestion or nausea
Having one or more of these symptoms, doesn’t necessarily mean that you have cancer. It is important to discuss these symptoms with your doctor if they happen to last more than 2 weeks and undergo further diagnosis, to arrive at a concrete conclusion.
